Where it all started…

Moondance’s first taste of adult travel came back in 1998, when a crew of Lovett School parents celebrated turning 50 by climbing Kilimanjaro. I didn’t make that trip – but the idea of creating Moondance experiences for adults has been simmering ever since.

A few years later, my own adventures in Africa lit the spark. For the past 31 years, we’ve been leading teens to wild, unexpected corners of the world – turning those journeys into life -changing experiences.

Our teens have come home raving for three decades.
